Palm Springs Free Shredding Event – Palm Springs has teamed up with Palm Springs Disposal Services to offer a Free Shredding Event to all residents this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the City Hall Parking Lot, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, California, 92262.
What they will accept:
- Legal documents
- Medical records
- Financial statements
- Band statements
- Payroll records
- Contracts
What they won’t accept:
- Batteries
- Swimming pool chemicals
- Paints
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Pesticides
- Other hazardous waste
You do not need to remove clips, staples, or envelopes from your paper items. Each resident can bring up to three banker-sized boxes.
If the Saturday schedule doesn’t suit you, don’t worry. You can conveniently drop off your shreddible items at City Hall any day this week between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The designated drop-off bin is secure for shredding all your private documents, and it’s constantly monitored for your peace of mind.
They’ll gladly accept e-waste and bulky items, too.
