Indio, the “City of Festivals” in the Desert, is divided by I-10 Freeway creating a “North” Indio and “South Indio”. Although the City of Indio is a resort community, North Indio is known for some of the best entertainment in the Desert which includes some top-tier entertainment in the casinos. Many of the golfing and non-golfing gated communities are 55+.
South Indio is home to some of the largest music festivals in the world. Housing is affordable with lower prices and HOA dues.
