Planning on Retiring and Moving to the Desert?

Planning on Retiring and Moving to the Desert? It’s that time in your life when you retire and look for a fun (and possibly warm) place to spend your retirement years. You’re still very active and enjoy golfing, pickleball, fine dining, the theater, and friends – lots and lots of friends.

Palm Springs and the beautiful surrounding areas are just what you’re looking for! We have many types of communities and home styles to choose from, like golfing communities, tennis communities, and for those who don’t want to “down-size their horse,” the equestrian communities.

We have single-family homes, SF homes with casitas, and condos; plus, you can either purchase or lease a home in the Desert.

Medical Facilities

We also have wonderful medical facilities throughout Coachella Valley, such as Desert Regional Medical Center; Eisenhower Medical Center (Rancho Mirage, Ca); John F Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Inc (Indio, Ca).

Shopping

The Palm Springs area also has THE Shopping! TripAdvisor listed some fun places to shop, from clothing to art.

If you like to dine out with breathtaking views of the Desert, you could try out (Click HERE). Such a variety of cuisine and tastes – try them all, they won’t disappoint.

Old Town La Quinta is another place you’ll want to frequent when you’re living here. Old Town’s Main Street is lined with wonderful stores, restaurants, and boutique shops, and the streets are filled at times with outdoor concerts, art fairs, farmers’ markets, and other seasonal activities.

Culture

Do you like art galleries and museums? We have the Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Springs Air Museum, Sunnylands Center & Gardens, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (a getaway for when it’s hot in the Desert), and the Joshua Tree National Park when you want the real experience of the Desert.

If you enjoy music, there is every genre in the world in one area. Many venues to choose from Classical to Country Rock, and just as many famous artists come to play in the area.

We also have State of Art Theatres – Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in Rancho Mirage and McCallum Theatre, and the Annenberg Theatre.

This is only a small sample of the fun things to do in the Desert. There is certainly more and more to discover and do!

Let’s get together if you’re considering retiring to the Palm Springs and La Quinta areas! I would love to help you find the right home and area for your needs.
